Requirements include a high school diploma, an active state medication administration license, First Aid/CPR, and at least 12 months of relevant caregiving experience. Weekend rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• At least 12 months of experience administering medications in a professional caregiving setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication, including self-administration when appropriate.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory, storage, and coordinate re-orders/deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and engagement through life enrichment activities.
• Encourage open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
