Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements for med administration.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordination with pharmacies for re-orders and deliveries.
• Provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Support residents with engagement and companionship to promote well-being.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
