Job summary

The Claiborne in Roswell, part of The Claiborne Senior Living community, is seeking Medication Technicians / CMAs to safely administer medications and support resident care. You’ll work under nursing leadership in a structured setting, delivering quality care with integrity and accountability.

As a CMA, you’ll adhere to physician orders, follow the Six Rights, monitor responses, document accurately, and assist residents with daily living tasks while maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the “Six Rights” of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
