Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in senior living or healthcare preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders and policy
• Follow the Six Rights and documentation standards
• Monitor residents for medication effects and side effects
• Report changes to nursing leadership
• Maintain medication records and counts
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Adhere to infection control and safety requirements

What You’ll Do

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy
• Follow the “Six Rights” of medication administration and proper documentation standards
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable, focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
