Claiborne Senior Living in Newnan is seeking a Medication Technician / Certified Medication Aide (Med Tech / CMA) to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification or current Medication Technician certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
