Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is hiring Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides (Med Techs / CMAs) to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community. If you are detail-oriented and dependable, we’d love to meet you.

As a CMA/Med Tech, you will administer medications per physician orders, follow the Six Rights, monitor residents for effects, report changes to nursing leadership, and maintain accurate records while supporting daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the 'Six Rights' of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
