Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians/Certified Medication Aides to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community. You will follow the Six Rights, monitor residents, and keep accurate medication records while supporting daily living activities.

Ideal candidates hold CMA certification, a high school diploma, and CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain. Join a team committed to safety, integrity, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per physician orders, regulations, and policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in condition to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and counts.
• Support residents with daily living activities as needed.
• Adhere to infection control and safety requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy

• Follow the “Six Rights” of medication administration and proper documentation standards

• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed

What We’re Looking For

Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Reliable, focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
