Job summary

Camellia Place in Woodstock, A Claiborne Senior Living Community, is seeking Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides to safely administer medications and support resident care. You will follow the Six Rights, document accurately, monitor responses, and report changes to nursing leadership in a team-focused environment.

We value detail-oriented, dependable professionals who prioritize resident safety and infection control, with opportunities for CPR/First Aid and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable, focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policy
• Follow the "Six Rights" of medication administration and proper documentation standards
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements
