Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides to safely administer medications and support resident care in our senior living community. If you are detail-oriented, dependable, and take ownership of resident safety, we’d love to meet you.

You will follow the Six Rights of medication administration, monitor residents for effects and side effects, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification (state requirements apply)
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders, state regulations, and community policy
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects
• Report changes in condition or concerns to nursing leadership
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Reliable, focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
