Caregiver / Medication Technician – Join the Glen Park Senior Living Team!

Glen Park Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Medication Technicians to assist residents with daily activities and medication management. Join us to create a supportive, healthy, and engaging environment for seniors.

Job Summary

As a Caregiver/Medication Technician, you will assist with residents' daily needs, administer medications, and ensure their comfort and safety in an Assisted Living Facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications following Title 22 regulations and physician instructions. Monitor medication records and report errors.
  • Basic Care Assistance: Support activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
  • Order and Reorder Medications: Manage medication supplies to ensure timely access for residents.
  • Documentation & Communication: Keep accurate records and coordinate with healthcare professionals.
  • Resident Scheduling: Arrange and coordinate doctor’s appointments.
  • Engagement and Support: Promote resident engagement, reduce pain, and support independence.
  • Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure cleanliness and safety for residents and staff.
  • Emergency Response: Respond appropriately during emergencies.
Additional Responsibilities for Residents with Developmental Disabilities
  • Align performance with program design.
  • Complete specialized training.
  • Meet goals in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
  • Maintain detailed progress notes.
Minimum Requirements
  • Live-Scan Fingerprint Clearance
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Negative TB Test and Health Screening

Work location: Glen Park at Valley Village.
