Job summary

NuCare Senior Living in Maravida Orange City, FL is seeking a Caregiver to provide compassionate, high-quality care for residents. You will assist with ADLs, meals, and daily tasks in a safe, homelike setting to promote independence and dignity.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior caregiving experience is preferred. Background checks are mandatory, and you will work with a supportive team to maintain documentation and adherence to care plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 18+.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; CBRF or CNA training strongly preferred.
• Must pass caregiver background check per Wisconsin requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be physically able to lift, push, and assist residents (up to 50 lbs) and perform mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meal preparation, dining, and hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, room tidiness, and common area upkeep.
• Report changes in resident condition or behavior to supervisory staff.
• Administer medications and delegated health-related services per RN oversight and DHS guidelines.
• Accurately complete documentation and daily care records as required.
• Foster meaningful relationships with residents and promote socialization and well‑being.
• Participate in scheduled staff meetings and complete all in-service trainings.
• Adhere to infection control, resident rights, and confidentiality protocols.
• Ensure compliance with Wisconsin DHS 83 (CBRF) or DHS 89 (RCAC) as appropriate.
