Job summary

Monarch Communities in Mahwah, NJ is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality resident care under RN delegation, including medication assistance and maintaining accurate medical records.

The role requires NJ Medication Aid Certification and NJ CNA or HHA certification, with at least six months of experience in senior care; compensation is hourly, between $21.31 and $24.00, final amount dependent on experience and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have a current NJ Medication Aid Certification AND a NJ CNA or HHA Certification
• Minimum of six (6) months experience working with seniors in Assisted Living, Home Health, Hospital, or Long-Term Care environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care for residents and families per care plans.
• Aid in medication administration under RN delegation and maintain related medical records.
• Complete required medication training modules.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations and community policies.
• Maintain resident comfort, privacy, and dignity; participate in training sessions.
