Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a dedicated Med Tech (Med Aide) for Cascades of Stayton to administer medications and assist residents in daily activities in alignment with individualized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate has nursing knowledge, experience with elderly/dementia care, and strong communication skills to engage residents, families, and physicians. This role offers swing shifts and weekend availability within a compassionate team.

Qualifications

Knowledge of nursing practices applied to resident care.
Experience with elderly and dementia care.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

Contribute information vital to development and implementation of customized service plans.
Administer treatment plans and chart medications in the Medication Administration Record, document PRN meds and missed meds.
Respond to calls and concerns from family members and physicians.
Contribute to quality of life by maintaining high, consistent care.
Collaborate with the clinical team to address residents' needs promptly.
Promote the Cascade Living mission, values and beliefs.
