Job summary

Navion of New Bern, a community of Navion Senior Living, seeks Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration-related and caregiving roles in a cutting-edge Assisted Living Community. This is a Part-Time opportunity on 2nd Shift to support our residents.

Join our amazing team to deliver high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight, while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining professional standards in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
• Ability to express self in written and oral communication.
• Ability to work in a care setting with seniors safely.
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents’ rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and required continuing education.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information (HIPAA).
• Documents changes in resident condition promptly to supervisor.
• Completes work schedules and tasks per community policies.
