Bridgeway Park Tecumseh is seeking Med Techs to provide compassionate care for residents, including medication administration and daily living assistance. You’ll participate in orientation and training, with growth opportunities and benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor.
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning.
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately.
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety.
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary.
• Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
