Description

Med Tech / Certified Medication Aide

Schedule: Mon-Fri; Every other weekend.

The Med Tech is responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of residents, providing leadership support, and assisting with resident care and services. Responsibilities include medication care assistance/administration, communication with resident support services and families, and maintaining clinical quality assurance, supporting wellness programs.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess residents' ongoing needs and services through the PSP process
• Ensure proper follow-up and documentation for clinical care changes
• Support wellness nurses in completing monthly wellness visits and PSP updates
• Inform supervisors of medication or service level changes that may impact resident status
• Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly
• Assist with resident care as needed

Requirements

• Must be certified Medication Aide and/or meet state requirements
• Minimum one year experience with elders or disabled individuals (preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing (preferred)
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
