Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Reno, NV is seeking a Med Tech (RMA) to assist with daily medication administration for residents and to maintain accurate documentation and medication programs. The role supports residents with daily living activities, while collaborating with a caring team to enhance well-being and quality of life.

Requires a Certified Medication Aide and any state-mandated First Aid/CPR certifications; training and advancement opportunities are available within a supportive work

Qualifications

• Must have state-minimum required experience, certification, or license.
• No additional experience required beyond the certification.
• Medication administration experience preferred where required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily administration of medication to residents.
• Maintain medication programs and documentation, including distribution and storage.
• Support residents with daily living activities and coordinate with the care team.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior and cooperative teamwork daily.
• Participate in on-the-job training and career growth opportunities.
• Meet required state certifications such as First Aid and CPR if mandated.

Responsibilities

What you will do as a Med Tech (RMA)

• Assist with daily administration of medication to residents


• Maintain resident medication programs and documentation, including medication distribution, ordering and reception, file management, and storage.


• Enhance the lives of older adults by assistingwith doctor’s appointments, pharmacies, and daily living activities


• Exhibit ethical behavior and work cooperatively with other talented team members in daily support of residents


• Receive on-the-job training and discover opportunities for career growth and advancement


• Must have Certified Medication Aide, First Aid and/or CPR certifications, if required by state

Salary Range

The wage range for this position is $17.00/hr - $20.40/hr, dependent on prior work history and experience
