Job summary

Mercyhealth in Rockford, IL is recruiting a Registered Nurse to assess and care for patients, administer medications, implement treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts, weekend and holiday rotations, and a 15% evening shift differential. Illinois RN license required; ADN required, BSN preferred; CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and RN license in-state.
• ADN required upon hire; BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days; other unit certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to standards.
• Documents care and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and executes a patient plan of care with physician guidance.
• Participates in performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Supports patient and family education and ensures quality of care.
