Responsibilities

• Manages and leads team members, operations and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shift.
• Collaborates with nursing management to develop methods and analytic approaches to patient care.
• Communicates and guides team toward achieving department objectives.
• Promotes high quality patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Provides direction and guidance to unit staff during shifts.
• Performs performance reviews and contributes to hiring, promotions and corrective actions.
