Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel RN in Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Leawood, Kansas. You will provide patient-centered care in a medical-surgical setting, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, under the guidance of our clinical team.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Med Surg RN experience, active RN license, and current BLS certification. NIHSS and ACLS are preferred. This travel opportunity offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and assist with procedures and patient transitions.
