MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS certification, and 18 months of Med/Surg acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Med-Surg RN provides care for adult patients before and after surgery and manages conditions with medications.
• Complete physician-directed assignments and provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health and perform treatments as needed.
• Administer medications with meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians and the treatment team.
