Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Health Care Associate for the Med Surg Telemetry Unit at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. The role is a part-time position scheduled for 24 hours weekly with day and night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.

The HCA provides direct patient care under RN guidance and participates in hand-offs using the EPIC system. Responsibilities include basic patient care, documentation, patient comfort, and effective communication with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering direct patient care and reporting changes to the nurse.
• Ability to document accurately and timely in patient records.
• Follows safety standards and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including comfort, hygiene, mobility assistance.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse for changes and concerns.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families.
