Job summary

At Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott Valley, AZ, the Med Surg Nurse delivers compassionate, high-quality care across adolescent to geriatric patients.

You will perform assessments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and lead as Primary Nurse and Team Leader while advancing your career in a fast-paced hospital environment. Relocation assistance is available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent.
• One year of nursing experience.
• Valid compact state or Arizona Nursing license.
• ACLS certification by American Heart Association.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association.
• Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for patients from adolescent to geriatric.
• Handles patients with more complex situations with assistance and supervision.
• Assists with managing patient care administered by other members of the nursing staff.
• Assumes responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader.
