Job summary

The Med Surg Nurse position at Dignity Health – Yavapai Regional Medical Center (DH-YRMC), now part of CommonSpirit Health, offers you a meaningful role in a community hospital setting in Prescott, AZ. You will deliver individualized patient care across the adolescent to geriatric populations and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree in Nursing or foreign equivalent.
• Requires 1 year of nursing experience.
• Active Arizona Nursing license (compact state acceptable).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for patients from adolescent to geriatric.
• Handles patients with more complex situations with supervision.
• Assists with managing patient care administered by other nursing staff.
• Assumes responsibilities of Primary Nurse and Team Leader.
