Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson location seeks a Medical Surgical RN to deliver compassionate, high-quality care across a diverse patient population. You will perform assessments, execute care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

This role requires an ADN, ND RN license on hire, BLS CPR at hire, and PALS within 90 days. BSN is preferred with 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• ADN required; ND RN licensure upon hire.
• BLS CPR required; PALS within 90 days.
• BSN preferred with 1 year of experience in the discipline.

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and others to understand care requirements; initiates plan of care
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends
• Promotes patient’s independence by establishing care goals; teaching patients and families to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills
• Adheres to therapeutic standards; measures health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; follows governing regulations
• Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations

We are offering a $25,000 Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 90 Days

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), 1 year of experience in the discipline.

Pay Range

$34.00 - $50.58 /hour
