Job summary

Incredible Health in the Washington, DC area is actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, at least one year of medical‑surgical experience, BLS certification, and strong EMR skills.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year nursing experience, preferably in a medical‑surgical or similar setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high‑quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post‑discharge care
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies
