LanceSoft is seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse in Ottumwa, IA to deliver comprehensive care to adult patients in medical-surgical and orthopedic settings. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, manage a 1:5 patient ratio, and support positive outcomes through clinical expertise and patient education.

The role requires ADN/ASN, RN license, and BLS; experience with IV therapy and EHRs is preferred. Competitive pay and a $15,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Active RN license and ADN/ASN degree.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency in patient assessment and IV therapy is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical populations.
• Administer medications accurately and monitor responses.
• Regularly monitor and document vital signs.
• Perform wound care and comprehensive assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain thorough documentation in EHR (Epic and other systems).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
• Educate patients on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Respond to emergencies and apply infection control protocols.
• Plan and coordinate patient discharge processes.
