Job summary

ATC Healthcare of Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Med/Surg to support rehabilitation facilities in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and participate in care planning with the rehab team.

Candidate must hold an active NV RN license and BLS, with 1–2 years Med/Surg experience. Per diem and competitive pay at $48/hr (W2) are offered, with full employer-of-record support and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license (or multistate compacts valid in NV).
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred/required depending on unit).
• Minimum 1–2 years Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced rehab/post-acute environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and post-surgical conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders and facility protocols.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary rehab team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge/home-care instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the facility's EMR system.
• Respond to changes in patient status and escalated care appropriately.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and ancillary staff to support rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
