Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience and Nevada RN license, with BLS; ACLS depending on facility; strong assessment and communication skills; PRN shifts.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nevada RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of acute Med/Surg experience within the last 5 years – REQUIRED
• Current BLS certification; ACLS as required by the facility
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to acute-care Med/Surg patients.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge instructions.
• Follow facility safety, infection-control, and patient-care standards.

Job Summary
