Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care within the Medical/Surgical Unit using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. You will provide direct patient care and guide patient and family education while adhering to standards of care.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, document changes in condition and test results, and respond quickly to evolving situations.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Direct patient care and guide patient/family teaching while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results; respond quickly to changes.
