AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans. You will administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes, while maintaining meticulous documentation and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires RN licensure and a BSN is preferred; strong English communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing).
• Proficient with basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care provided by team members to maintain quality.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
