Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care within a multidisciplinary health care team. You will provide patient teaching, discharge planning, and collaborate with ancillary departments to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires maintaining standards of nursing practice, adhering to infection control policies, and participating in ongoing quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Previous experience in general duty nursing preferred, but not required.
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state; Current BLS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care as part of the nursing team.
• Provide patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain standards of patient care and safety; adhere to infection control practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and policy reviews.
