Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care according to the health care team philosophy and discharge planning. You will collaborate with ancillary departments to maintain standards of care and patient privacy, while implementing physicians’ orders and infection-control policies.

Ideal candidates will have a graduate nursing program credential, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification, with preferred experience in general duty nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state; Current BLS.
• Previous general-duty nursing experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides the best possible nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.
• Initiates and implements patient care plan; coordinates discharge planning.
• Administers medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly.
• Maintains standards of recording, reporting, and patient privacy.
• Participates in infection-control policies and hospital safety programs.
• Works with the health care team to ensure quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
