Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a New Graduate RN for 10 Ardmore East, Med Surg–Nights in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role offers day or night shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with every third weekend and holiday rotation.

On this 16-bed Medicine Floor, you will deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes while developing professional practice through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• RN license active and privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required with potential additional certifications.
• Graduate of a board-approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans with the team.
• Maintains a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
• Adheres to age-specific patient care and ethical standards.
