Aurora Medical Center Summit in Summit, WI is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg 3 unit. You will care for a broad medical and post-operative patient mix, including cardiac, stroke, renal, and oncologic cases, with an emphasis on collaborative team care.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing program credential, WI RN license, BLS, and NIHSS within 6 months. The unit operates a 1900-0730 weekend schedule with 36 hours per week in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA).
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• ONS/ONCC chemo/immunotherapy card within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
