Qualifications

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documented handoff tools and processes.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, evaluation of outcomes.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and documentation.
• Provides education based on patient learning needs and cultural considerations.
• Applies Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in nursing care.
• Maintains accountability for delegated nursing care.
• Adheres to ANA code of ethics in nursing practice.
