Job summary

West Henderson Hospital is part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas and is operated by Universal Health Services, Inc. The RN will deliver safe nursing care, lead a healthcare team, and uphold patient-centered care standards in a busy acute care setting.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license in Nevada, with BLS and specialty certifications as required. A BSN is preferred, and pre-employment assessments may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides staff under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
