Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med-Surg unit at West Hospital. The RN will deliver compassionate nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary team, and develop patient care plans to improve outcomes.

The role requires a BSN preferred, at least one year of RN experience, and a current RN license. BLS certification is preferred; ACLS may be substituted. Mercy Health offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• One year of RN experience (required).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS preferred on hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, understand charting and assess patient condition
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with Mercy Health policies and procedures
