Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, while upholding Mercy Service Standards. You will coordinate care with other departments and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

The role requires RN licensure, an approved nursing education (ADN/ Diploma/BSN), and BLS with potential for additional certifications based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• RN license in hiring state or compact licensure and must meet state requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification (or within 30 days of hire).
• Additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness by other direct care givers.
