Job summary

Mercy seeks a registered nurse to utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and to maintain professional accountability for the care of the assigned patients. You will evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care with other departments, while upholding patient rights and confidentiality in line with Mercy Service Standards.

Education: graduate from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
