Job summary

Ascension is hiring for a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg department at the Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. This rotating, full-time position requires active RN licensure in Texas and a Diploma in Nursing.

You will deliver evidence-based patient care under RN leadership, monitor patients, document care, and support physicians’ orders under a preceptor. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and PTO.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Registered Nurse credential must be active in Texas before hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care per protocols.
• Observe and report patient condition changes to RN leadership.
• Assist in documenting and executing physician and nursing directives.
• Implement and track patient care plans and update records in real time.
• Participate in transition-to-practice programs to refine clinical skills.
