Job summary

West Henderson Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time days to provide safe, competent nursing care in a 150-bed acute care setting within The Valley Health System. You will lead and support the healthcare team while upholding patient-centered care and Service Excellence standards.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, adhering to facility policies, and ensuring high-quality care across emergency, cardiac, neurology, and surgical services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification. Current PALS Certification (pediatric) or NRP Certification (neonatal) as required by department.
• One (1) year full-time or three (3) years part-time experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
