Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will apply the nursing process, develop care plans and coordinate with the health team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, current Maryland RN license and CPR certification. One year of RN experience is preferred; specialty certifications are expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.
• Current Maryland RN license is required.
• Healthcare Provider CPR every 2 years; specialty area certifications upon hire.
• One year of RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and plan care.
• Develop and update a written plan of care based on clinical data.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with health team and family members.
• Document patient status and care plans in the medical record.
• Provide patient teaching and participate in quality improvement activities.
