Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care under general supervision. The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, Maryland RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current Maryland RN license with Board of Nursing.
• Healthcare Provider CPR bidialectual; specialty certifications required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Develop and update a written nursing care plan for patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate patient care with health-team members and disciplines.
• Teach patients and families about care plans and self-management.
• Document patient status and plan in the medical record and communicate verbally with the team.
