Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse; active FL RN license within 60 days if compact.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal communication; PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of Med/Surg patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
