Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med Surg 5E. The unit cares for adult medicals with diverse conditions; duties include using the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinating with departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Requirements include Missouri RN licensure (or compact) and hospital experience preferred. Sign-on bonuses are available: up to $10,000 for experienced nurses and up to $5,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
