Job summary

Medical City Arlington, part of Medical City Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with nursing standards and the care team.

You will support patient advocacy and contribute to positive clinical outcomes. As a valued nurse, you will educate patients and families, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred. BSN will be required within 3 years of employment.
• Texas RN license required; eligible to practice in TX
• Current BLS and ACLS upon hire (AHA or ARC)

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record; monitor responses.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively address needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
