Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking an RN in Med Surg Neuro for day shift with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with the care team, using established nursing models and advocating for patients and families to ensure safety and compassionate outcomes.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS within 30 days of start date, and an Associate or Bachelor’s degree. 1+ year Med Surg experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license (Registered Nurse) required.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 1+ year Med Surg experience in an Acute Care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide timely, compassionate care; respond to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up.
