Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical Surgical unit in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This opening is for a Full-time day shift.

As an RN on Med/Surg, you will provide nursing care using the nursing process, supervise support personnel, coordinate with ancillary services, and educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care. A Florida RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required (American Heart Association).
• Licensed Registered Nurse required (FL).

Responsibilities

• Providing for patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordination of care with ancillary services and involving patients and families in the care plan.
