Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time day shift position with a sign-on bonus. You will provide nursing care, coordinate with teams, and educate patients and families on disease processes and plans of care.

Requirements include an ASN, RN license, BLS, and hospital experience. BSN preferred, with opportunity to grow within a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving

Qualifications

• AS nursing degree required, BSN preferred.
• RN license required and BLS certification.
• 1 year or less Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Experience delivering comprehensive patient education and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Organize and supervise care by support staff.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services and involve patients/families in the plan.
• Educate patients and families on disease and care plans.
• Advocate for patients across medical/surgical needs.
